    Sweet

Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec is book three in the Naughty Princess Club series. Starring Ariel Waters and Eric Sailor, Kiss the Girl, is filled with humor, antics, and romance as Ariel tries to overcome her problems with Eric at her side. I enjoyed this novel. Kiss the Girl was a quick read and definitely will have you smiling. It is the conclusion to the series and Ms. Sivec does not leave us hanging on "happy endings" or "what happens next". Overall, I would recommend Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec especially if you're looking for a romantic comedy. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

    Hilarious

Kiss the Girl is the hilarious conclusion to the Naughty Princess Club series. It was the perfect wrap up for the series. Outwardly Ariel Waters is a ball buster. Under all that bravado is a woman who struggles with insecurities that run deep. Eric Sailor seems to be the only person that sees past all her bluster and sees to the core of her. That scares Ariel more than anything. When Ariel's world is turned upside down Eric is the one that comes to her rescue. Will Ariel's history keep them apart or will she take the chance to claim the love she so clearly sees in Eric's eyes. This is a wonderful, fun read that I think everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend it.

    Ok read

Overall, I thought that this was an ok story, some parts were better than others. I was interested in seeing how the princess spin would play out. I thought that Ariel was a bit rough around the edges and a little too dependent on the foul language. You can be a strong independent woman without every other sentence being filled with curses. I did like the bond and sisterhood that she shared with her two friends. I also liked how Eric was patient with her and let her rediscover her fierceness at her own pace. Even though this book can be read with no problem as a stand-alone , it is the third book in the series. I will probably read the first two at some point just to get more background on the friends can't how they started their business. I voluntarily read and reviewed s complimentary copy of this book received from Netgalley.

    Great Ending to the Series!

Just like the first two, Kiss the Girl was a hoot! I think it's my second favorite of the series. Ariel has a lot of sass to her, but she also has a lot more that we got to see throughout the book. She has a soft and emotional side to her as well. I felt really bad for her multiple times during the book. She's had a rough past that makes her second guess herself. She deserves to be happy, respected, and loved. Eric is a great character! He's more than what we got to see in the first two books. He has a really sweet side to him that I loved seeing. He does a lot for Ariel and it is definitely swoon-worthy. He has some smooth lines that's for sure. Their whole relationship is hilarious yet adorable. The storyline had a few twists and turns that I wasn't expecting so that kept it interesting. Kiss the Girl had a whole bunch of Little Mermaid references which I really appreciated and loved. I was very happy that the epilogue included updates from all the characters, it definitely made me smile.

    Appealing Reimaging of a Classic

This was my first read for this author and while this was the third book in the series, it definitely can be read as a standalone. However, at times I did feel like I might be missing out on something by not reading the first two books. This was quite the retelling of Disney's version of The Little Mermaid. When I started this book I began to wonder what I had gotten myself into, because Ariel has some serious anger issues. This is all explained before you even get thru a quarter of the book. Once the reason is explained for her anger, it all makes sense (even if it was a little over the top) and I had a hard time putting this book down. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments and the sexy times are steamy. The book knocks down the fourth wall and pokes fun at itself for the Disney references. Ursula doesn't make her full on strike until about the 75% mark and I was worried that the author wasn't going to be able to pull it all together in the end, but she proved me wrong. Take away the Disney references and you still have a solid story about friends sticking together and being there for each other no matter what. I'll have to checkout the first two books in the series. Also loved the ending and how it all came together, didn't really see it going down that way.
