    Fantastic

Very honest and compelling reading about the rock n roll lifestyle. Not just the glamour, but the darker side. Parties Boyd tells it from the inside, as both the passion and the darkness are exposed. An excellent read.

    An Amazing Journey

I'm glad to see Pattie come out the other side, but it's a tale of excesses and rock 'n roll egos that again proves the Jim Morrison bio book title "No One Gets Out of Here Alive". The story is told in a such an unprepossessing and starkly frank way that you have no choice but to experience the rollercoaster ride in all its glory and despair. The only criticism I have, is that there aren't more pictures of musicians and Patti herself. Patti has a fabulous eye and I'm sure she agonized over what ones to include. Also loved seeing her modelling pictures as I was too young to appreciate them in the '60's. It was interesting seeing her perspective after reading both George's and Eric's auto/biographies. I wish her well in finding peace and happiness.

Not as truthful as I thought it would be

Great read! Patti is humble. Her writing style is great but I have enjoyed many of Penny Junor's books. She wasn't as truthful as I thought she'd be, maybe she didn't want to reveal some of the affairs she had with other women's husbands. Wisely, Patti decided to leave the more salacious details of her infidelities out of her book. Otherwise..I couldn't put it down. I cane to admire her strength, for what she went through. I held my breath when it came to her divorces because she deserved so much more then what she parted with. Enjoyable read.

    Excellent biography

I enjoyed reading about Pattie's life it was and is quite amazing, sad at times and imensly exiting. It was very interesting to see what went on behind closed doors, Quite an eye opener really! Really enjoyed the book it captures the 60's so well and good luck Pattie you are a true survivor.
