  • Loved it!

This was such an interesting book. It tells the story of generations of struggles by the Afghani women, through the eyes of Zebab, who is charged with murdering her husband. Its eye opening how these women experience safety and friendship in jail for ‘acts’ committed that tarnish the honour of the men in their lives.

  • A House Without Windows

This was an excellent story . I had never read a book set in the middle east. Not only was it suspenseful and well written, but also educational. I never knew what all the titles and names given to grand parents, aunts, uncles the respect that is meant in using the titles etc.. Great book. I'll always read more than once because inevitably I will miss something the 1st time around.
