    Clinical Yet Subjective

As someone who has struggled immensely with bipolar, An Unquiet Mind was a fantastic look into the world of bipolar through the eyes of an academic. Often have I run into cold, calculated doctors who have turned my diagnosis into a list of symptoms and nothing more. Kay was a refreshing voice that explored both the clinical and diagnosed experience of such a profoundly terrible illness. I related so much and learned even more. There is hope in the darkest of times, and moving forward is the only way one can go.
