  • An gripping fast paced action packed thriller

Wow. Is this really a debut novel I can't believe it. This must be one of the best debut novels i have read in a long time. The writing is just like a seasoned author. Its so real, flows wonderfully, action packed, well researched and most of all gripping with a fantastic sense of atmosphere. Who doesn't love a gripping action packed aviation thriller! so much praise for this new author for brings us an amazing book. This author is one to watch, she is just outstanding and i look forward to many more of her novels to come. I'm keeping my eyes peeled.

  • various twists and turns

Debut author T J Newman has used her former own experience as the basis for Fallen, a standalone thriller. It begins with a stunningly surreal description of a passenger airliner about to crash, with a large hole in its fuselage. As the story unfolds, the chief pilot has to choose between crashing the plane or seeing his kidnapped family killed. The chief air hostess, a family friend and the cabin crew have to somehow protect the passengers. So begins a tension building saga, where every positive step creates a fresh new danger. Whilst the book will do no favours for Aerophobia suffers, it’s an above average three-and-a-half-star rating of a read. Unfortunately, the initial gripping opening somewhat fluctuates in the various twists and turns (some foreseeable) and a middling finale. The book is a tribute to airline cabin staff and hopefully with more adventures to come.
