  • Classic novel.

I enjoyed how much darker the book is than the first film adaptation. I was in the same boat as many people, had seen the films but not read the books. The darker tone of the story and the author’s social commentary on various topics (technology, human superiority, etc.) was just fantastic. Well written and the narration was excellent. I’ve already started The Lost World for my next audiobook. Recommend.

  • Excellent

I don't think there's much I can say to convince anyone to read this book. It's a classic, it's tense, it's compelling. Overall, a great time. My only complaint is that Ian Malcolm does go on an awful lot about chaos theory and the abuse of science. I think Crichton may have been trying to get across some personal views with the character.

    Thanks for your feedback!
