    No Man Can Tame

So, I'm  torn about this audiobook. I read the book and that was exceptional, and it's not that I don't think the audiobook is good, but I felt the narrator failed to capture all the beauty that was in the story. As I have said before, a good narrator enhances the story, they are able to give each character their own distinct voice and personality, I didn't feel that way about the narration of this book. There were many scenes in the book that the narrator should have been able to make come alive visually for the reader, but it didn't happen for me. The story is still excellent and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I know it's not easy narrating a book, and I don't like giving narrators bad reviews because I know they work hard. I don't think this narrator is bad, I just think she wasn't the right fit for this story. I believe it should have had a male and female narrator but I also know that it is costly for an author to get their books in audio format. I would give the story 5 stars, the narration 3 stars and overall it would get 4.5 stars. PS: I will say that one of the things that annoyed me was that the characters keep say by ,"great darkness". It was so annoying, it's like a person who constantly say "well, golly" or a person who says "you know what I mean". It comes across as if teenagers are speaking.
