  • How bad man can be to fellow man

story of the Houston and it’s men in WW2 from the battle of the Java sea to its sinking in the Sunda strait alongside the HMS Perth Well documented from survivors with their tales of escape from the sinking ship and capture by the Japanese and internment in prison camps and work on the Burma Thailand railway until the end of the war. It hard to imagine the cruelty these courageous men endured and the ongoing psychological torment they were left with. This book helps to remember what should never be forgotten
