  • A good addition the subject of alcohol abuse

It's a shame the author feels compelled to resort occasionally to juvenile language because it adds nothing to the points she makes and, more often than not, it just serves to make her sound childish or pretentious. That aside, this is a good book with some excellent insights and sensible practical suggestions on how to reduce or eliminate one's alcohol consumption all presented in a non-patronising and non-preachy manner. It will, I think, be of particular interest to those who have found the more sanctimonious and dogmatic aspects of Alcoholics Anonymous hard to tolerate.

    Thanks for your feedback!
