    Thanks for your feedback!

    Wonderful, breathtaking, and terrifying tale.

I love The Ocean at the End of the Lane. It was the first Neil Gaiman, on his own, that I had read, leading me to American Gods and many more. It deals with childhood, but not childish things. It is beautiful and terrifying, a fairy tale for adults that is sometimes too close to reality for comfort. A mesmerising book that I couldn't put down, and didn't want to stop listening to Neil Gaiman reading, either. This is a book for anyone who has ever been a child.

    Absorbing

Beautifully told, impossible to stop listening to. A story of immense imagination. Totally absorbing and believable fantasy told from the viewpoint of a 7 year old boy in a rambling house in Sussex and a family of powerful women in an old farm full of magic, suspense, horror and wonder. I loved it.
