  • Nothing happens

Can't say much more, bit boring. It's just a couple neighbours who go about their lives, guessed what was afoot about 4 chapters in. Wouldn't recommend.

  • Really bad

Firstly the narrator (for the entire book) couldn’t make up her mind on whether Sara was an “air” or an “are”. Really dull story, kept expecting it to go somewhere but it never did. Some unnecessarily graphic sex scenes, which added nothing to the story. Just... bleh...

  • First world problems

The main characters are just so annoying in this audiobook, it was pretty obvious from the outset where this was going to end up and it was very hard to have any sympathy for the main character as she continues to make stupid decision after stupid decision because she lets the reprehensible, arty, up their own backside characters next door enter her family's life. It just ended up annoying and angering me

  • Plods along Nicely

Interesting story of relationships and how one can get drawn in to a relationship because it seems the right socially upward move and lose perspective of what you have. It was rather drawn out though. I had it as an audio book. Thank you.

  • The people at number 9

An enjoyable tale of our times that made us happy and sad. Great characters and a very believable storyline.
