  • Totally catastrophic narration!!

I love the story. Listened to it in Swedish last month. Now my library go me the English recording. I am sorry to say this, but this narration is so bad. I am a Swede, so I know Norwegian. The narrator reads it so bad. There're a lot of Norwegian words and names in the book that are so miss-pronounced so I had to stop listening and go back to the Swedish version. In book 1, the narrator knew Portugeese. Why not a narrator (if you had to change) that knows Norwegian?????? I give 5 stars for the book and 0 (1) star for the narration. So that leaves it at 3 stars.

  • The Storm Sister

Having read the first book in the series, I was a little apprehensive that this book may not hold my interest, reading it directly after the first, and could be quite repetitive. However, I needn't have worried as I have now come to realise that Lucinda Riley, through her clever style of writing, has developed a diverse storyline that I'm sure will be maintained throughout the series. Although an easy read, the book has an intricate and complex plot, which is cleverly revealed at intervals throughout, and offers many surprise twists. I thoroughly enjoyed it, every bit as much as the first book in the series.

  • Veredelde bouquetreeks

  • Intriguing

Loved the way the stories intertwined and held my interest.
