  • Hilarious self reflection

Born and raised in Ireland I knew a fair bit of this already, but most of it I didn't know. All of it is shocking. It is written with wit and humour though, a little sugar for the medicine. It reminded me of a friend who worked for a year in an English pub in Paris, after the year he said "I love English people, Brits are the problem". Perhaps the entire concept of Britain is poison and should just be knocked on the head once and for all. Also in a rather delightful irony and consistent with the British penchant for stealing everything that isn't nailed down I should point out that Nicholas Callan of electrocuting students and chickens fame was Irish not British. Thank you James Felton, for this enlightening and darkly funny romp through some really quite disturbing content.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Hilarious!

Had me in stitches throughout and I couldn't put the book down. Will be buying sunburn shortly.
