  • 7th cousin but no proof

Very Poor storytelling. Firstly - there is NO mention of how the author is actually related to Lizzie Borden at all. Who was the common ancestor? Who were they both descended from? Genealogical details would be very helpful. Secondly - there was no summary of the Lizzie borden case laid out at the beginning to which the authors thoughts could be compared to. Instead these comparisons were made throughout the narrative which made it hard to get the whole story. Thirdly, the POV between characters were changed which made for a choppy story. Sometimes we were seeing from the Authors POV, and then from Lizzies POV and then her sisters POV or her fathers POV. These unnounced POV changes were jarring and interrupted the flow of the story.

    Thanks for your feedback!
