    Not impressed

I'm reading this now and I don't like it. It's filled with redundancies - do not drink every time you read "bouncing cradle" - and irrelevancies. I really don't need to know who wanted sugar in their coffee and who didn't every time this constant parade of child welfare people troop in and out of Cathy's house. This story contains pages of graphic descriptions of child and animal abuse which is meaningless and gratuitous since it has nothing to do with the story. How does "Cathy" manage to support herself and her kids? She doesn't seem to have a job. With all the top-secret stuff about the baby, I was sure he was the son of some high-profile criminal. The truth is pretty silly and a letdown. Cathy is perfect and never gets frustrated or angry or upset even with caring for her two children and a newborn baby alone, but of course, her kids and the baby are all picture-perfect too.

    A baby's cry

I love Cathy Glass' books. Thank you using your voice to help those unable to speak for themselves! You're doing a wonderful job with your children as well as foster children
