  • A Bride For Xmas

Simple and full of dragons. "I am Uncle Nash, I mean Captain Sinclair..." Like very much! Also sad on the bit of war fought for naught. Got to learn a couple of words new to me, like pelise, and gentlemen of the ton.

  • Pace was slow

The story line was ok i guess but too slow... was not able to keep my interest.

  • Great title

Very cute short story. I found it to be an amusing story, one I'm sure was a little bit true in these times.

  • Clean and Sweet

As an avid reader of historical romance novels, I didn't hold much hope for this one. Why? Because it's a novella, and as most regency novels contain a slow burn, I wondered how a novella could encompass that. However, I was pleasantly surprised how eloquently the story was written with so few words. Yes, there was no scorching passionate moments in this book like most regency novels, but in itself, it was a very well written story filled with sweet and sassy moments. If you're a fan of Austen's portrayal of verbal sparring between Lizzy and Mr Darcy, I am sure you'll enjoy this book.
