  • Good

The first two book of the series have made me impatient in waiting for the final installment of the series. It did not disappoint in terms of the quality of the story. However, without putting spoilers in my review. I would say that the pace and the timing of certain events were a bit misplaced. Not a huge problem in my opinion, but don't expect the story to be linear with events happening in one location and in one go. It is more like a single event has been chopped in a few pieces and slotted some side stories in between the gaps.

  • Picked up from the second

This book took everything from the second and made it relevant and useful. While the second book felt kind of like an info dump this book brought everything together, finalised character arcs, and refrained from large amounts of exposition. Good final chapter to the story.

  • Loved the whole trilogy

A real treat, with a strong and original premise, some great characters, and some wonderful writing to carry the story along.

  • Brillant

I just finished the series, and while it still fits the classic trilogy mold, it was a masterpiece i really enjoyed. I liked the elements of the differently characters coming together and how it felt more like a city's story than any one person's, as well as the themes around death and loss and thirst for adventure. It's as well crafted as the various objects Lila keeps on admiring, though there were some loose ends, they seems to add to the mystry of the piece.

  • Spanning en sensatie

Derde deel van deze triologie is een page turner: je wilt antwoorden op de vragen uit vorige boeken, je wilt weten hoe het verhaal afloopt.
