    Thanks for your feedback!

Good read but had some issues

Like the first in the series, I mostly enjoyed reading the book. Also like the first book, I found that the author often reminded the reader of Ziele's past in a heavy-handed way. Instead of alluding to events, the author just essentially outright says "hey, remember that this happenend and why it's relavent now." It's just plain not interesting to read the same thing over and over in a blatant way. My other issue involves a logical step required for the characters to make in order to progress in their investigation that was very obvious, yet the characters (as intelligent as they're supposed to be) were apparently incapable of making. It was frustrating reading them go the wrong route while yelling at them in my head. I dont know if the author was trying to be clever by implying by incorporating a "twist" that the reader was supoosed to go "oh, I didnt think of that!" but it failed. Again, I enjoyed the read and will tackle the third in the series because I had already purchased it, but if I have similar frustrating issues I may not attempt the fourth if there is one.
