    Couldn't put it down

Once I started the series I couldn't put it down. So many twists always kept you on your toes. Very well written and engaging you felt as though you know each character personally.

    A Dance With Dragons

Can't believe how long this one was and yet the story is not yet over. So many characters and storylines, so many twists and turns, and so many cliffhangers. How could this ever have once been billed as the last book in the series?

    And Here We Are

What is there left to say as we reach the fifth volume of A Song Of Ice And Fire. It continues to the excellent standards as have been established in the previous books, builds and expands various layers of stories and characters and continues thier journeys which at the conclusion of this book feel like they stand on the precipe of reaching thier ends. For me this book was perhaps one of the more fun and free-flowing of these mighty tomes G.R.R Martin has written but I can also understand one of the most frequent critiscms I come upon about this book - namely that the stories are diversions when Martin should have been pushing the tale forward. I can understand that, at times it does feel like some of the plot points could have been left out and the story has become distracted by it's own complexity but I still think they have thier place and help add plenty of meat the world and the people in it. There really is nothing to else to be said, if you liked the previous books don't hesitate to pick this up. It's not flawless, but it comes pretty darn close and is a mighty satisfying read. Once again well done to the tech wizards for a fine digital copy.
