  • Wonderful

NEVER judge a book by its cover. This is a very old saying. I did and I was so very wrong. What a beautifully told story of your family Frauke. I cried, I laughed out loud, I felt. I know so many of the people you mentioned in this book and all the places you spoke of. It has been many years since I lived in Kununurra but it will always be my home. I met my husband there in 1998. He died in 2015. I go back when I can to see my daughter and my two grandsons. You are a beautiful woman Frauke stand strong.

  • Dust with a side of diamonds

I adored this book. I laughed, I cried, and empathised with Frauke and her wonderful inspirational life in a tough yet gentle life in outback Australia. She's one brilliant cut diamond - an Australian treasure! Wunderbar Frauke.
