    Great friends-to-lovers romance!

I loved these characters, their history, their love for each other, and their journey together. Everything about the way they were depicted felt so real and lived-in—vivid in a way that's rarely achieved. And it's definitely a treat to read a historical romance set largely at a slightly seditious (and definitely indecent) printing press, instead of the more usual territory of high society and formal events! This will be a favorite I return to. And, regarding the previous person's review: bisexual people exist, in history and in fiction. If you don't want your fiction to include bisexual people, then by all means choose another author than Cat Sebastian, who writes queer historical romance.

    Very Disappointing

They introduce the heroine's ex-lover in first few pages of the book... a woman. Not a book I want to read. Sorry I wasted the money.
