    Thanks for your feedback!

In easy but very good read from start to finish

I have read that this is the first in the Ryder and Loveday series of books and I really enjoyed it. It was a relatively easy read and did not really have any slow parts. The book kept moving very well. The plot is centred around 1960 and seemed to be quite authentic for life at that time. I thought I had seen a flaw at one point when there was a box of tissues and I had to search to see when tissues first appeared in Britain. I particularly liked the way that the two central characters were built up by the author at the start of the book and progressed throughout, right to the end. The plot built up nicely through as the book progressed and I found myself reading that extra chapter every night. All in all, a good read and one that entices me to purchase the next in the series which I have done.
