  • A friend called alfie

Dogs are highly intelligent animals and are way more affectionate than cats. Alfie is a fictional cat who treats dogs like they are brainless. A particular phrase:"Dogs are just like cats without the brains." said by Alfie made me want to strangle him and make him regret that those words ever came out of his fish-breath mouth. Throughout the series, the author made it sound like dogs are dumb when they are not. The author stated that the cats liked to tease dogs which is pure mean of them. Cats are selfish things who are not loyal to us humans. Dogs have saved the lives of many and the fact that the author ignored it makes me feel like slapping Alfie and friends in their pudgy snobbish faces and praising the dogs. The author is just trying to make cats sound as great as dogs and just because he/she cannot accept the fact that cats are brainless selfish dunderheads does not mean that he/she should take it out on innocent dogs who did nothing wrong. Therefore, people should not read this book as it gives people the wrong impression of cats and dogs.#go team dogs

  • A friend called alfie

I hated it when Alfie said that dogs are cats without brians! Dogs are extremly clever creatures and can save lives. Cats are the ones without brains!

  • Highly recommended!

I'm a fan of Alfie and George and was more than happy to meet them again and enjoy their adventure. Pickles, the puppy, is a lovely addiction and it made me smile and remember when I had puppies in my life. The story is sweet and heartwarming as usual and it was great to read about the developments in the life of the cast of characters. A well written, engrossing and entertaining read, I can't wait to read the next instalment. Highly recommended! Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
