    A History of Loneliness

This book is brilliant in every way. It is confronting- the story of the modern Catholic Church in Ireland with all the dreadful problems of child sexual abuse by members of the Roman Catholic Church. But it is the story of a good man and his journey through life as a priest. There is so much in this wonderful book, I can't rate it highly enough. The characters, story line, brilliant writing all set in the real world where horrible, dreadful secrets are finally brought into the open.

    Humanity and discovering oneself

Ultimately a story of humanity, its various tenets including its flaws and failings. A quest for redemption.

    An unseen loneliness

A harrowing story to read but so plaily written I could ot put it down. It did not feel like fiction.

    Amazing

Very strong read, showing the story of how the Catholic church had tried to cover cases of children's sexual abuse in Ireland. Very well written and enjoyed it all the way from beginning to end.

    A History of Lonliness

Very descriptive and fast paced. Showed both sides in a way I wouldn't have thought possible.
