  • Gripping and Imaginative

Very easy to read and deft of touch. Really captures small town Ireland in its weaving of characters and changing landscape. All types of readers would enjoy this book as there is a myriad of darkness and light . I would like the book to have been longer so look forward to the next one.

  • Mother & Daughter

Stories about a mother and a daughter, their secrets. Well written with characters behaving in believable ways, there may be people like these near you.

  • Loved this story.

Brilliant story, took me to the places like Buncarragh and Muirnish, in my imagination all these places came alive as well as the characters. Hard to put down. Sad when you discover things about your life after your loved ones have passed away, where do you go to get answers. I didn’t want this book to end and look forward to another by Graham Norton. Love the Irish connection with his books.

  • Fantastic

Really good read, not my usual type of book but the story hooked me from the start. Sad like a lot of old Irish stories. Well done Graham
