  • Well written

Enjoyed this well written and humourous book. A few unexpected twists, and the premise is a wee bit farfetched, but the pace and humour drew me in.

Captivating from page 1. Couldn't put it down until the last page was read.

  • Great fun, really enjoyable

I preferred this to the previous one in the series, both were good, these one engrossed me. Juliet, the maid has been sent by her young mistress to impersonate her, in London...The premise is a bit silly, but it's cleverly written so you are drawn into the plot, the characters are easy to love and I'm a sucker for the underdog....The relations are a lot of fun as is the piddling Sir Percy..... now That has to make you want to read it..😅

  • A Lot Like A Lady

Enjoyed this book with it's humour and lightness threaded the story of a Big House maid who goes to London at the behest of her friend and employer. Pretending to be Lady Charlotte, young Juliet travels to stay with her "step-brother" who is to give her a season in the hopes of finding a husband for the absent Charlotte. What a shambles a pudgy dog, a pudgier scandalous owner, two spinster aunts and a Duke can add to the household. Recommended read. I
