  • Epic!!

What an epic way to “end” this series!!! Of course I wasn’t ready for it to really be over so I’m hoping we get to catch up with Annie & Tyler again soon. Be prepared for ALL the feels and a glorious yet sometimes heartbreaking journey for two of my favorite Piper Lawson characters. The whole series has been epic!! LOVE LOVE LOVED it!!

  • A Love Song for Dreamers

A Love Song for Dreamers is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, is the conclusion of Tyler and Annie's story and the completion of the Rivals Trilogy. Tyler and Annie have known each other since they were just kids and have always been in love but their hopes and dreams continue to break them apart. Tyler wants to be a musician and Annie wants to work on Broadway. Just as it looked like they were both about to achieve their dreams together another incident breaks them apart yet again. After reconnecting at a party in LA, Tyler and Annie realize that their love is too strong to not attempt to make their love and dreams work together. Piper Lawson does a great job of wrapping up this trilogy and bringing Tyler and Annie's love story to completion. Through this whole trilogy, I felt for Tyler and Annie and was happy that their lives finally aligned and they got their HEA. This trilogy needs to be read in order for the full understanding of Tyler and Annie's complicated relationship. *ARC was generously provided in exchange for my honest review*

  • Beautiful & Poignant

This is book three of Tyler and Annie's story and you must read all these books and in order. Also, if you want to see more of their younger selves and to learn more about Jax and Haley I recommend that you read The Wicked series. Man these two really make your heart ache. You had to feel for these two as their romance blossoms, blooms and struggles to survive over the course of this series. Love is never the issue but everything else certainly is. Painful baggage, family drama, tragedy, dreams and desires all serve as a multitude of stumbling blocks for this pair to overcome on their angst ridden journey. I loved both these characters so much. In the good times you rejoice with them and in the bad times you want to hold their hand and give them a shoulder to cry on. Tyler was simply amazing! My heart bled for him again and again. While I admired Annie's desire to chase her dreams, I also admit to feeling a certain amount of frustration with her. A few of her actions and decisions rubbed me the wrong way but I think that has more to do with my own personal experiences and with my being on the outside looking in perspective. As a whole though this is a book/series that tells a beautiful and poignant tale of an enduring love that will leave you swooning. This is my sincere review that I am posting of my own accord.

  • Intense, passionate and heat-pounding journey

Annie and Tyler took me on an intense, passionate and heat-pounding journey. Tyler’s outlook is shattered on his career is shattered after an injury. He is lost but an opportunity is presented to go on tour so Annie encourages him to take it. While he is away touring, Annie continues to pursue her dreams to write and perform on Broadway. Distance and dreams push them apart. A few years later they both end up in Dallas, each one still dreaming but a little lost too. Is this their chance to get it right and hold on to the love they have? Or will their dreams push them apart again? My heart was in my throat most of this journey. I wasn’t sure what to expect and whether they would find a way back to each other. I truly couldn’t put it down.

  • A perfect end to this wonderful trilogy

Finally - I have been anticipating this final book in the Rivals trilogy for what seems to be way too long. I am not a patient person. That said, it was definitely worth the wait. Tyler and Annie seem to have had such bad luck when it comes to timing, every time their happy ever after came within their grasp, fate seemed to deal them a joker. Years have now passed them by, and this time around they’re more mature and more focussed on their own happiness. Things appear to be working out for them as individuals, the question is, can they ever make it together? As in the previous two books in the series, I was hooked, and completely invested in their story. I loved that Jaxson wasn’t quite the stubborn pigheaded dad he was portrayed to be in the previous two books, and how as a family they all finally seem to be pulling together for the greater good. Wonderful story, perfect words and characters that make you believe. I was hooked and completely overwhelmed, and I can truly recommend this trilogy to fans of rockstar romance, who enjoy a little angst on the side. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
