  • A Delightful Ghostly Regency Romance

Oh what A wonderful book with friendly ,lovely ghosts.... Reading this book i relived the stories of " Casper " ....it was very sweet, captivating Regency Romance set against the backdrop of a old castle in Cornwall with lots of Friendly Ghosts ... Right from the start the story was fast paced ,very well scripted dat it got me & had to finish it in one sitting... as this was my 1st book by Amanda & description was different against other Regency Romances i was hesitant to read but once i picked up the book & started reading was pleasantly surprised & happy it got me hooked... spooked...impressed ...WOW good story writing... Miss Cassandra "Cassie" Richards recently arrived in England from a lifetime in Jamaica and is now visiting friends of her aunt at Royce Castle in Cornwall. Lord Phillip, the Earl of Royce falls in love with Cassie quickly with the intervention of the many ghosts in the castle. There is a stupid suitor from Jamaica that comes to makes trouble but is roused.vanquished by the friendly meddling ghosts living in castle... t was a fun read it really surprised me on how it played out it is worth reading you will like it CBailey 4.0 out of 5 starsI enjoyed "A Loving Spirit" quite a bit 8 May 2015 - Published on Amazon.com Verified Purchase I enjoyed "A Loving Spirit" quite a bit. The ghosts were different but humorous. I agree with another reviewer about the ghosts "being the real heroes of the story". They really were, which made it interesting. I also, would like to see Antoinette in a sequel. I was a bit disappointed in her outcome. The story was a bit predictable as far as the love interests were conserned, but most of the time that's the case. I would definitely recommend "A Loving Spirit" to anyone who enjoys historical romance with a little paranormal twist! • Sweet romance with unique aspects

A lovely, sweet romance with helpful ghosts to make the romance go smoothly. I liked the characters in this story. I especially enjoyed the back stories of the ghosts and how their own stories progressed. The overall plot is predictable however a sense of humour and some unique perspectives kept it fun and interesting.
