  • I laughed and cried

I brought this book because it was a 'good for me book', that means one that I read because everyone says how good it is but I expect to not really like. How wrong I was, it was wonderful, I drove my husband mad reading funny bits to him and when I got to one particularly sad bit I sat in the hairdressers and quietly cried for Ove. I really can tell you nothing of the story because you need to find it out as the book unfolds, but I can say that Ove is a lovely man and I really enjoyed spending time with him.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A Man Called Ove

One of the funniest and most heartwarming books I have read, wonderful. I will be looking out for more from the author.

  • A Man Called Ove

You start off by severely disliking Ove but by the middle of the book you get as change of heart and in the end, well I'll say no more about the end, totally brilliant book

  • A man called Ove

This book was so well written. It was so funny, full of pathos and impossible to put down. Top marks Frederik Backman for restoring my joy of reading.
