  • A sweet romantic comedy

No Spoilers I don't want to risk giving away even the smallest of moments that brought such magic to Liam and Elena's story. This is a fairy tale romance told in modern times. Packed with wonderful characters that easily steal the reader's heart. Elena is a walking disaster, no fault of her own just a fact of her life. If it could possibly happen there is a great chance she will be a recipient Having faced one mishap after another her whole life she has learned to roll with the fates and adapt. Find the silver lining, grab the positive, and all that. Until the day she accidentally turns a trespasser into a walking eggplant. Liam has devoted his life to his country. Duty before desire. Sacrifices must be made... He needs some breathing room and an opportunity has just splashed itself before him. It's only a month. They both get something out of it. No strings, no commitments. Oh, who is he kidding? This was full of colorful humor - Sweet missteps and confections (wait for it I'll never view pink donuts the same) All added together to make a heart-melting romance

  • A thoroughly charming royal romance

Royal romances can be a bit hit-and-miss for me, but with such a cute cover, and an interesting synopsis I was certainly excited to read A Royal Disaster and I'm glad I did. As it was definitely more hit than miss even though parts felt tried and tested and somewhat familiar. But there was also something genuinely fun and entertaining about this story, and the characters were great. Especially klutzy starving artist Lena, and the romance between her and Prince William (Liam) was engaging not to mention sweet and steamy. And I was thoroughly charmed throughout. Which is why I would happily recommend this story to others and will certainly be looking out for the next Royally Engaged book in the series. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review**

  • LOVED!

Loved this book! Liam is positively swoon worthy as the crown prince. Lena is a hot mess and everything she touches seems to turn to disaster....starting with their meet-cute when she throws a can of purple paint at Liam. The moment is caught by the paparazzi....the very paparazzi that Liam was trying to escape. The press immediately trashes Lena's reputation and business, so Liam devises a strategy to help restore both. Somewhere along the way, their fake relationship starts to feel. Unfortunately, it's literally illegal for him to marry a commoner. Along the path of their unconventional relationship, craziness ensues, as Lena's very existence seems to prove that Murphy's Law is a real thing. Their story made me laugh out loud and feel invested in their relationship. I loved this book and can't wait to read more by this author. Put this one at the top of your TBR list.

  • A fun read with heart and humor

When royalty meets a walking disaster you know you are in for a fun read, but this book delivered more than just a Cinderella story with some laughs, it also had emotion and heart with a swoon-worthy prince and a heroine who was genuine and real. Liam and Elena were quite the couple. The prince who puts his country and duty first and the starving artist who always seems to find herself creating some sort of chaos seem an unlikely pair, but ultimately they are just what each other needed to find the happiness they deserve. These two had so much chemistry and I loved their ability to laugh and find humor through all the disasters that seemed to follow them around. And for all that Liam did for Elena both professionally and emotionally, it was the way Elena treated Liam and how she showed him that someone could care for him as a person and not just a prince that really made this story work for me. There were some great secondary characters in this book that deserve their own stories, and I can’t wait to see what those may be. Elena’s best friend Nia is a hoot and Liam’s younger brother sounds like quite the walking scandal, and then there’s Fin, Liam’s best friend and assistant, who seems like the perfect candidate for his own happy ending. Liam’s parents left a bit much to be desired, so it will be interesting to see if/how they are woven into any future stories as well. This was a fun read that had lots of humor but also a lot of heart. The story did feel a bit over the top at times and did slow down a bit in the middle, but ultimately came together to leave me smiling and laughing and happy that fairytales sometimes do come true.

  • A light-hearted, witty read!

After reading the blurb I was looking forward to this story and the cover is so cute it draws you in as well. This book was a light, easy read with plenty of witty banter, a little steam and many sweet moments! Elena was quirky, klutzy with a heart of gold and Liam was sexy, sweet with a generous soul and these two together were nothing short of swoon-worthy fireworks! If your looking for a cute Royal read that is light-hearted fun then this is definitely a read you need to pickup!
