  • A Great Book It Was!

A Season of Change was my first book by Beth Wiseman and a great book it was! I couldn’t put it down. It was number three in a series but, it did wonderfully as a stand alone. I didn’t realize it was part of a series when I started it. I want to go back and read books one and two although, I never felt lost or that I was missing anything reading this book out of order. This book was like drinking water after a drought. It went down smooth and was refreshing. I just read a book that was a struggle so, I really enjoyed sitting back and relaxing with such a good book. Because it is an Amish romance, I knew there would be some talk of God but it wasn’t over the top or down your throat. Just a nice story that filled me up. There were troubles and characters finding their way forward to a fruitful life. It was poignant, brought tears to my eyes and made me remember that no matter what we are loved! If you enjoy a clean love story which includes love among family and those that become family, you will most likely find yourself falling in love with this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from #FirstEditions and #Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

  • Wonderful Finale

I absolutely loved this series but this one was the icing on the cake. The author has outdone herself. From laughter to a sobbing mess it was wonderfully written. I loved all the characters including grumpy Gus and those matchmaking sisters had me laughing out loud. I am sad to see this series end as they felt like family and being wrapped in a cozy blanket. Even if the Amish genre isn’t your favorite I believe this series will appeal to you. Faith, family whether blood or not, love which knows no age limit, and facing life’s challenges is all wrapped together like the best Christmas present waiting to be unwrapped and enjoyed. Give this a chance to worm it’s way into your heart. #mustread#loved. I received a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.

  • A Wonderful Read

"A Season of change" is the last book in "The Amish Inn" series.  However, it could be read as a stand-alone. In this last book, Beth gives us a deliciously sweet romance, a teaser mystery, and the loss of a loved one,  This story emotionally touches so many areas of our lives, I found myself laughing, crying, confused, and the list goes on.  I absolutely loved this story and have fallen in love with its characters. I hated to see this series end because these characters felt like family.  Beth does an incredible job of making them real and relatable while sharing their defects of character which make them more endearing to me.  I absolutely adored the two elderly sisters, Esther and Lizzie who own the Peony Inn.   I caught myself laughing out loud at their antics and humor.  Their relationship is so real and refreshing. I also loved Esther's wisdom. Pick up this book, it's an easy and fun read and you will not be disappointed. Beth Wiseman always delivers.  I received an ARC of this book.  This review is optional and my own opinion.
