  • Look away...... And never come back.

If you are reading this then it mean you may have (or not have) finished this sad and horrifying tale of these three children. Which means you have no need to look further. You could go ahead and read some other nice and great tale but if you stay then you have made a horrible decision. You could go and read "The Secret Sequel" which tells the tale of what happens next to these three very unfortunate children or you could leave and never come here again. But if you wish to say then take my advice. Because "The world is a treacherous place" Signed: Thomas T.

  • A great series for early readers

I recently re-read this series having never finished it as a kid. The series is a little bit repetitive but is still a page turner. Some of the material seems to make it for a little bit of an older audience. Lemony uses a very interesting style of revealing small bits of information throughout the series and it is up to the user to make connections for the story outside the story.

  • loved it

I love this serise so much but its probably 10+ because there is a lot of death the preveiw lets you read the whole first book which is very good.

  • Great series, a must-read!

This series is an excellent choice for readers aged 10 to 13. It all starts when the Baudelaire children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, lose their house and parents to a tragic fire. The humerous characters in these books include a deliciously wicked actor, an unhelpful banker, a very extravagant financial advisor, and, of course, three very unfortunate children. I found the ending of the final book unsatisfying, but the rest of the series is great!
