    Song of Stones

Much as I like this author, I confess to finding book weird. Written as if listening to the subjects private meandering thoughts didn't work for me.

Banks never fails to engage and inspire.

Mr Banks presents his premise like an exotic fruit, and then proceeds to peel back layer after layer of intricately articulated literary labia until we arrive at the final, wrenching release. Read and reread and repeat at will.
