  • Good book

The actual story of Di and Tom was wonderful! But there were so many other stories going on that did not add to the main story line that it was distracting and a little difficult to assimilate at first. Too many people without interesting story to go with it. But Tom and Diane’s characters were definitely ones that I could root for and enjoy! This house party could have been smaller with more detail that would have made things so much better. So I still recommend this book, but wish it could have been handled with a lighter hand.

  • A clean second chances Regency romance

Having been torn apart by her domineering father, the sweet young pair never forgot one another nor that they were soulmates regardless of time or the continents separating them. Meeting again after twelve years and with much water under the bridge, they can still read one another's feelings. However, there are others conspiring to trap them into advantageous matches for their purses rather than their hearts and they definitely muddy the waters. But that isn't the only romance in this book. There are two other young couples finding their way with one another, discovering that sometimes opposites do attract, whilst behind it all there is one dear elderly aunt pulling the strings like an expert marionette master, cheerfully watching her plans come together. This clean second chances Regency romance all the ingredients for a good book, with just enough drama to satisfy the reader and it comes to a happy conclusion for all parties. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
