  • Compelling story!

I just finished reading this book, and I'm overwhelmed by it. It has brought me such a mix of emotions. I wanna know more about Afghanistan, its people, and most importantly, its women. It's a must read, a must!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Fabulous read

Not my usual genre, but thoroughly enjoyed this book. Emotional at times. Second book read by this author, and would recommend to all.

  • A Thousand Splendid Suns

A very moving story. Beautifully written, engrossing, tale. We share a story of thirty years of oppression in Afghanistan through the eyes of the two main protagonists. Two women with very different upbringings, whose lives become entwined. We share their joys and sorrows, laughter and tears. Highly recommend this book!
