  • A Trade To Die For

Getting to like Nick Severance - lulled in by the gentle first book, this gently unravelling story continues in the same under-stated vein. Without too much gore McKay develops both the pathos and jeopardy to a compelling level and doesn't sensationalise the darker elements. A good read.

  • Very good and believable story line

This was the fist book that I have rread by this auther and I enjoyed it a lot. The story rolls along very easily and is not to convoluted even though there are epsiodes in both India and Japan things remain easy to follow. At first I thought that once the "foreign" parts were bought into the story that this would be very wishy washy and unbelieveable but in actual fact they were key to the whole book. I would recommend this book to those who like me enjoy detective / murder mysteries and for once it was good to have a none american story line and main character, not that I have an issue with this but sunny Califonia is not as relatable to damp and cold Wiltshire.
