    5 fabulous stars!

I didn't really know anything about this book going into it, but I LOVED IT! Just a great love story. It is almost impossible for a book to make me cry, and this one did it twice! But, at the same time, this is not a dark or sad book at all. It just has some very emotional moments. Very well written, very different from Tillie Cole's other books. I could not put this book down.

    Italy,Wine, horses and romance Perfect

*** I voluntarily reviewed this book, I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book, these are my honest ramblings and I hope you enjoy reading them - kat*** I spent the day enthralled by Author Tille Coles book. It transported me to Italy. a country that I have always wanted to visit. with a story revolving around Wine, horses, and soulmates it spoke to me. For some, they are real life. Caresa Acardi, the Duchessa di Parma. A blue blood of Italy. but grew up in Manhatten, she goes from young free and enjoying life to being told that her arranged marriage date is being brought forward. She knows it's more about a merging of families and of business. but when she arrives in Italy to marry into House Savona. get lost in a tale where Monarchy still exists just not officially. Italy abolished the monarchy in 1946. But to the aristocrats of Italy, the abolition means nothing at all. The Super Rich still hold power, money, status and more. Caresa is following her father's wishes and although she feels nothing for Prince Zeno Savona she is willing to marry him to help the family business… … or at least she was until she meets Achille. Swoon with a CAPITAL S Achille is the perfect book boyfriend for me. he's a winemaker. handsome and owns a quaint cottage and 2 horses

I enjoyed this new one by Tillie Cole!

3.5 STARS! A Veil of Vines is the second book I have read by Tillie Cole and I enjoyed it. Caresa Acardi, the Duchessa di Parma is betrothed to Prince Zeno Savona; both families from Italy and blue blood where being royals and arranged marriages still exist to keep the legacy alive and in this case to maintain the traditions and high standards of the Bella Collina vineyards. Caresa and Zeno are both known in their socialite world but whereas Zeno is a known playboy and doesn’t seem to be interested in carrying on this legacy with his betrothed, Caresa uses her time in Italy to get to know her place and the vineyards and in the process comes face to face with Achille Marchesi, the man behind the infamous merlot. While I love drama and looking into the lives of the privileged upper crust, I found some of the story slow moving but it really picked up for me in the second half of the book. When it did pick up, I enjoyed the romance aspect, the emotions, the beautiful scenery of Italy. In the end, I felt that everything came together so beautifully and the message in the story itself – with how the heart trumps tradition – was as it should be because after all love conquers all. When I closed by kindle, I was left hoping that Ms. Cole would write more about a certain character whose story seemed unfinished and I hope that he too will find his happily ever after <3
