  • Wickedly loved this book!

Kace and Aria go through some emotional upheaval in this book, and it affected me too. After the cliffhanger from book 1 gets resolved, Kace keeps telling Aria that she will run once she finds out about his past, so I was reading as fast as I could to see what I would find out. Aria still thinks she and her brother are in danger, so this gave me another reason to read as fast as I could to find out if she truly is. Kace and Aria have become necessary to each other in the short time they have been together, and their chemistry and connection crackled through the pages. They crave each other, and I devoured every moment between them. Aria is changing for the better, opening up, trusting people and trusting herself, and it was beautiful to read. She is letting herself be happy, instead of alone, and I was so happy for her. Kace is still “damaged, complicated, demanding yet sweet,” and I couldn’t get enough of him just like Aria. They are “two damaged souls who connect,” and I was connected to them and this book. This book had me in its wicked grip until the last page, and what a last page it was as it was a doozy of a cliffhanger! I can’t wait for the third and final book! I love and highly recommend this book and series! *I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*

  • Aria and Kace - a new level

This is the second book in the Brilliance Trilogy and it is one intense read. It is not a standalone as it picks up from where the first book’s cliffhanger left off. From the inception, the lyric “Like a moth to a flame burned by the fire, my love is blind can’t you see my desire?” from the song That’s the Way Love Goes by Janet Jackson kept running through my mind. Aria and Kace are growing closer but new information comes to light that has Aria rethinking some things. Not one to let something precious go, Kace is willing to fight for what he wants and that is Aria. Gio is still missing which is causing some additional worry for Aria and last but not least, Alexander is looking to break up Aria and Kace. The question is why? There is so much to say about this exhilarating read with its twists that the author has so eloquently written that readers will feel as if they are on an extreme roller coaster ride of emotions. These characters are all-consuming and get into one’s pores. Prepare for the seduction of your life, if you are willing to go on the journey with Aria and Kace. I highly recommend this book and volunteered to read a copy of it.

  • A Shocking thrill ride!

This picks up exactly where book one ended. Almost immediately, everything begins moving at warp speed as Aria and Kace deal with a relationship that promises to be more, the threat to Aria’s secret being revealed and the disappearance of her brother. Watching this couple grow closer together as they work to solve the problems surrounding them had me alternately swooning or gasping. There is no denying that their chemistry is hot and why wouldn’t it be when you’ve got a smexy hero like Kace? I love how this author manages to slowly unravel the mystery a step at a time without ever cluing us in to what the ultimate reveal will be. While I knew this was going to end in a cliffhanger, getting to the end was quite a ride filled with plenty of the Walker guys, my favorite Inside Out characters and new revelations that left me shocked.

  • Amazing

This book was so good. I couldn't put it down. I had to know what happened next. Aria is starting to trust a few more people. Her brother is still MIA. Kace and Aria relationship is heating up. I love these two together. They are trusting each other more and realizing they are good for one another. I love how Sara gave her good advice and was there for her. That is what a friend is all about. Crystal is another one that is a great friend to her and allowing her to be apart of their company. That cliffhanger though. I can't wait to read the next book. I need it now lol. I need to know what happens next. I highly recommend reading this series. Definitely didn't disappoint. Another great read Lisa Renee Jones. Love this book and series. I still haven't figured out Alexander yet.

  • On pins and needles!

You're killing me with these cliffhangers! Thankfully we don't have to wait long for the last book in this trilogy. I'm so curious how everything is going to come together. There are a lot of unanswered questions. I'm also loving the appearances and name drops of other characters from other series, but overall I'm just loving this couple. I like when a couple wants to spend all their time together. They haven't known each other long but Kace does not want Aria out of his sights. That means I get good quality couple time.
