    A Year at Hotel Gondola

Another stunning read from Nicky. I was transported to another world, the Venice I imagine. Full of love, and the most charming and interesting people. Tempting recipes and the wonder of the food. It all ended too soon. Left me wanting more.

Food, love, quirky relatable and lovable characters.

What more could you want? Love all of Nicky books and this one was lovely! Recovering from a serious operation this was a perfect read. Heartlifting and life affirming.

    Another great Nicky Pellegrino book

I really enjoyed this book. And the book inside the book. As it flips between a narrator and Kat's chapters in her book. I love the way it respectively treats Venice and the frustrations of the local Venetians at the day-tripping tourists. If you are interested in reading this book, then I recommend that you read "Villa Girls" then "A Summer in Venice" then finally "A Year at Hotel Gondola". Because the character Addolorata bridges Villa Girls and A Summer in Venice. And the character Coco bridges A Summer in Venice and A Year at Hotel Gondola
