  • Great read

Well written and entertaining insight into our Special Forces in Afghanistan. Found it a fascinating read with many interesting facts slotted round a fast paced action story. Worth a read.

  • Afghan Heat: SAS Operations in Afgha

True history. Many stories of unconnected operations carried out by the SAS. Hard to read with many errors in proof reading and editing.

  • Quick point

Liked the book as a quick read to cover SAS ops over a couple of years from the soldiers perspective and not even going into the'head shed' stuff. Camp Bastion got its name from the emblem of 62 Wks Gp RE, not from hesco, just a quick point.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Needs proofreading before publishing

While he should be commended for his military career and for his ongoing public service, the author (or his publisher) should, in future, engage the services of a proofreader before bringing titles to market.

    Thanks for your feedback!
