  • Aged for Murder, Good start to a new series.

The first book in the A Tuscan Vineyard Cozy Mystery series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is an Author I have not read before, I want to read the next book. Things in Olivia Glass' life are not going well so she decides to go to Tuscany, where she gets involved in a murder mystery. I recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Olivia gets a taste of winery.

Olivia's world is in a turmoil. She quits her job, her boyfriend, her apartment and her country. But in Tuscany there also are doubts. She gets signs that she should stay and signs that she should go back. Being a prime murder suspect doesn't really help. This series starts a bit in the same way Fiona's other series starts, with a woman in her 30's who, after a break up, makes a job switch in a different country. But the country differs, the job differs and, of course, the woman is a different one. Great summer read! I liked this book just as much as the books from the other series. I can't wait to read more! • Self discovery and challenges in a Tuscan setting

A date at a nice restaurant with her boyfriend starts off with torn stockings and ends with him making a very big series of changes in their lives She has been thinking about making changes after burning out working on the big account of a product line she now feels is faulty A vacation with a fresh start and in a sunny Tudcan locale with an old friend has great promise It turns put there are also several opportunities for big losses as well Fun and dangerous adventure, intriguing self reflection and growth possibilities and including a friendly goat! • Funny, Quirky Combination of Chick Lit and Murder

I hadn't read a book by this author before, and I'm not quite sure if I've ever seen quite this combination of storylines and tropes. It certainly got the “Eat, Pray, Love” vibe to it, where a woman at the end of a relationship decides to radically change her life, leaving everything behind for a new adventure. This one even takes place in Italy. But that's not the only thing going on in the book. There's also, as you might guess from the title, a murder in the little Tuscan town she’s in—and for which our heroine is the prime suspect. So it combines ideas of following a dream and being involved in a murder. This turns her into an amateur sleuth, as she hopes to clear herself. The author wrote in deep character style, so the reader always sees what is going on in the heroine's head, quite often a very funny place to be. The book has a surprising amount of humor. Even though I finished it, I'm still not sure quite what to make of the combination of women's fiction and mystery. At least it's fun to visit Tuscany, especially when no one in the US will be doing that for a long time! I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

  • Italian mystery

Have you ever dreamed of moving to a foreign country because you are tired of your life. This book will give you a little bit of that feeling with the main character moving to Italy. She gets involved in a vineyard murder with other little side stories to keep you going till the end. Cute!
