    All Clear

One of the best books I have read, the superb writing really made you feel you were in the forties experiencing the war first hand. The characters were real and very believable, many plot twists and turns with a rewarding (for the reader) ending. Brilliant!!!!!

    Drags a bit

The ending of All Clear is very satisfying, as questions are answered and loose ends are tied up, but the whole story was dragged out far too long. I slowly grew sick of characters repeating themselves chapter after chapter, offering no new information and gradually losing my interest. Blackout and All Clear could, and in my opinion should, be edited down to a single book. Failing that, if you've already read Blackout, I suggest you just open All Clear at the halfway point and pick the story back up from there.
