    Enjoyable but predictable

I’m not fully sure whether this book comes under the umbrella of thriller or women’s fiction as it falls somewhere between the two. As a thriller I found it offered few surprises, the ending was obvious very early on however it wasn’t a bad read as a women’s fiction book however the thriller side of it just distracted from it a shade. The killers chapters aside the story follows four different females centred around Paige who was a nice enough character but not really the centre of the action. Her cousin was unlikable but in a very readable way, her mum was a delight gradually finding herself at the age of 70 and two years after being widowed however my favourite character by far was Paige’s best friend Chloe who was a very compelling story and is extremely well written. Overall this is a good read it’s just a shame it lacks a clear genre.

    A book to remember

The story is set in Boston in America. It centres around four women who explore online dating and things goes wrong for one of them. Paige is unemployed, living with her mother and uses an online dating app to find love. Her mother, Joan, is a window who's also thinking about having another partner. Paige's best friend, Chloe is beautiful and in an abusive marriage and Heather her cousin, is jealous and competitive. Story also features Mr. Right Now, a serial killer who likes finding lonely women especially online to abuse them. Despite not being my usual genre, I found the story mesmerising. It was difficult for me to put the book down. The author has done it justice by giving the insights of each character. It makes you understand the characters more and you find yourself having conflicting feelings.
