  • Sweet and Soulful Like A Great Blues Song

This novella, like a sweet and soul-stimulating blues song, is so textured, rich and fine you'll want to continue to revel in it while waiting for the inevitable ending that you never want to happen. The author's love and respect for the underlying theme of music in this tale is complex, dynamic and is as powerfully delicious as the approach of passion and appreciation she laid out for wine in her previous novel, Prosecco Heart. Strauss brings Oro Beach alive with rich characters the same way that Wayne Marston brings the guitar alive with the soulful nature of his music. I don't want to leave Oro Beach, and neither will you.

  • Almost Blue

Easy read. Like that it wasn’t a young person story.. We middle aged folks have stories to tell too.

  • Almost Blue

I have never read a romance book like this before, with mature characters whose hearts can race, who have insecurities and can still find love.

  • Eh. So so

Very short and disjointed. No real emotions from main male. Female lead seemed juvenile and petulant.

    Thanks for your feedback!
