  • Chaos in the Cotswolds

A very cleverly devised and devious murder mystery with all the reality of the personal and professional challenges of modern policing. The humour gives a delightful lift to this, often harsh, genre.

  • And now for something completely dif

Not your average tea cosy mystery, more like a police procedural with a running monologue by Seinfeld, the hero being an underdog who is hapless, manic, and slightly brilliant, He manages to convey authenticity to the story by givng it the ring of how truth can be stranger than fiction, but the characters are all clay~footed ordinary people.

  • An unsafe pair of hands

Hope we'll get more crime novels involving the same characters. One of the best I've read recently.

  • An Unsafe Pair of Hands

What a great read - first of my Shand books. Got to search for more. Some loose ends to be tied off and surely enough grist for the mill. Loved the humour that was interwoven into the story - great prose.

    Thanks for your feedback!
