  • Incredible read in the series, once again.

Anchors Away and Murder was a nice read. I absolutely was not able to guess who the murder was, and Patti surely did a great job at mucking the waters so that I would not guess at all. She expertly twisted, knotted and knitted this story to the point that it was next to impossible for me to even be able to guess who had done the deed. She is a master at creating not only false leads, but also some that were real but were going as false. This book made no exception of course. The more I read of Fee and her world, the more I realize that my had is not made to guess in Cozy Murder Mysteries, but they are still deadly fun to read. I had a lot of fun reading this book, and like all the others, it is preferable to read them in order and not read them as stand alone because at this stage, it is pretty much impossible to read this as a stand alone and get all the references. It is way better to just read this series in order and hope for the best. Plus, this series is not just a mystery within each book, but there are a lot of loose ends per books that are being dealt with in other books further along the series. So, in order to get it all, one must read them all in order. So if you are looking for a cozy mystery series, with a feisty red head that will make you fall in love with her family, her down, her job and herself, plus, let’s not forget her adorable pug Petunia, then you have to dive into the world of Fiona Fleming without looking back. Trust me, you will adore the ride. Happy reading.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Anchors Away and Murder

Great summer read. A good murder mystery, not too heavy. Love Fiona and her family.
