    Enthralling story.

I really enjoyed this book. The story is rich and engaging. The characters detailed and convincing. The pace is excellent. A genuine page turner, would have read it in one sitting if that was a practical possibility.

Excellent book. Steampunk/Fantasy at it's best.

I enjoyed this (2nd) book even more than the first. The main man (thomas Senlin) continues to develop as he encounters even more bizarre characters and situations. I absolutely love the concepts, the dialogue and the imagery. This is a good, solid, immersive read .

    Marya where are you?

Finally finished book 2 in the Tower of Babel series and it continues to be thoroughly great and intriguing read. WTom and the Crew being pirates and struggling at times finding food. We visit the zoo and meet Luc Marat, who is instantly hateable as the destroyer of books. Watching the crew come together as a family and supporting one another especially when the have to visit the Sphinx. Tom’s journey in the bottomless library are reminiscent of the train spotting film in places. The character development of Iren,Edith,Adam and Violeta is a huge part of the story and I found myself drawn into the journey each faced and how the responded to it. I have already preordered book 3 and am looking forward to reading it.
