Great story but these four books should be one.

I loved the first two books in this series but really $10 for a hundred pages and that you can blow through in a couple of hours is overpriced. These four books should be together for the price or one then it would be a fantastic find. I find my desire to read the last two books is outweighed by my sense of being ripped off, one small story at a time.

Honestly it's just more of the same - in a bad way

I found the first one to be innovative and delightful. It was a strange, unlooked-for kind of escapism to find myself identifying with a murderbot who hates his job and would rather just sit and consume media all day. In the 2nd and 3rd books the references to shows he is watching feel more and more like throwbacks made just for the sake of it. As opposed to something integral to the plot or developing the character. "Hey, gotta give the masses what they want, right?". And I shouldn't really be calling these books to begin with, they are way too short for a ~10 euro price tag. What you're really buying here is just another 1 hour episode in a Netflix series that used to be good for the first season.

    Nicely done sequel

I read this with some fear, as sequels to really good novels tend to disappoint. But Murderbot's struggles are just as riveting and fun as the first book. It won't admit to having compassion and caring, but the others that it meets during this adventure force it to face its own emotional connections. Using soap operas to teach human behavior and motivations... What a brilliant and hilarious concept!

Just wait until you meet ART!

I had a lot of fun with this story! This installment is my favorite of the three that are currently available in the series. I had kind of wondered where the series was going after the way the previous installment wrapped up but I trusted that Murderbot would not let me down and I was right. Murderbot is on a mission to find out what really happened in its past. The SecUnit decides to hitch a ridge with a transport vessel and gets a little more than it bargained for in the process. ART isn't a mindless vehicle and challenges Murderbot and offers guidance and assistance. I really loved watching this unlikely pair work together on the mission. This story had all of the excitement and action that I have come to expect from the series. The humor really added to the story and I thought that the interaction between ART and Murderbot was oftentimes quite comical. There was a pretty solid mystery that is tackled in this installment that kept me turning the pages.

    Need more book !

To be honest this book is so small... I legit managed to eat it in one day. Be aware this book is good and once you finish it, you will crave for more. I will not spoil anything but the narration is great.
