  • Ashes of Victory

To anyone who has read The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire or War and Peace, the truly ponderousness of this series will strike a chord of familiarity. A truly important and undying work that will reverberate down the generations along with Lord of the Rings and Foundation. It will maintain its relevance for posterity as it delves into the human condition and asks the important questions that all literature is required to ask. Right and wrong, morality, violence versus nonviolence, deceptions of the mind or rationalizations versus facing truth, etcetera. This series tackles them all, provoking answering emotions and thought, without sacrificing story. Thoroughly engaging.

  • Ashes of Honor

This is the 4th time in 2 years that I have reread this series, it's really great, folks! Honor(and it is easier now than Honour) has returned and has to face up to political reality. I guess the author has the same opinion of them as most do. The Queen is embattled and life is tough.
