    Asterix the slave

Asterix and Obelix go to Rome and sell themselves as slaves! Yes, really. Why? Because they want to get close to Caesar, steal his laurel wreath - and put it in a stew. That is the unlikely story of this book. Do they succeed? Well, yes, though not in the way they expect. And they incidentally contribute to the decline and fall of the Roman Empire. All good clean Gaulish fun. Highly recommended.
